Christie’s Education chooses Unit4 Student Management in the Microsoft Azure Cloud to provide a superb mobile and digital experience to students:

Unit4, a fast-growing leader in enterprise applications for service organisations, today announced that Christie’s Education is to implement Unit4 Student Management in the Microsoft Azure Cloud to provide a superb mobile and digital experience to students.

As the for-profit education arm of Christie’s auction house, Christie’s Education offers world-renowned fine art graduate programmes in London and New York. Delivered via the cloud, Unit4 Student Management will provide a single platform for students and employees to manage campus life.

“As a specialist higher education provider in the UK and the US, our priority and focus is delivering an exceptional learning experience for students across all aspects of their journey,” said Jane Hay, International Managing Director of Christie’s Education. “Unit4 Student Management will enable us to provide even better services to our students, while at the same time allowing us to move faster and with greater flexibility.

“The configurability of the system means we will easily be able to accommodate the reporting requirements of each region, and as a result we can quickly deploy our services internationally.”

With a user experience founded upon next generation technologies, it is expected that employees and students will spend significantly less time on administration when interacting with Christie’s Education. Students will have more time to focus on studies, and academics more time to spend on teaching.

“We are very happy to be working with Christie’s Education,” said Derren Nisbet, Managing Director of Unit4 UK. “It will have the very best technology to complement the superb educational experience it already provides to students and is also ideally placed to expand its services internationally.”

Unit4 is the number one supplier of business systems to Higher Education in the UK & Ireland with over 200 ERP and Student Management customers. Unit4 is also growing its market share of student systems faster than any other vendor in the UK.
