LocknCharge celebrates the success of its #WinAJoey

#WinAJoey competition and the launch of the customisable Joey 30 storage Carts at BETT 2017

LocknCharge are celebrating the success of their #WinAJoey competition and the launch of their new customisable Joey 30 storage Cart following the BETT show last week.

LocknCharge is committed to making teachers’ lives easier by manufacturing high quality solutions for syncing, charging, transporting, securing and storing iPads, Chromebooks, tablets and other mobile devices. Technology has many advantages in the classroom, but unlike textbooks, tablets have to be ‘managed’. LocknCharge helps solve this problem.

LocknCharge recognizes that not all schools are the same, and therefore not every school has the need for all elements of its carts. The Joey 30 has been designed with this in mind, and schools only need to pay for the features they need, with a clever ‘bolt on’ system.

Customizable features include LocknCharge’s unique and innovative baskets, which keep devices safe during deployment and allow a few students to distribute an entire cart’s worth of devices in a fraction of the time. This reduces the time spent deploying devices.

In fact, the time taken to deploy 30 devices was just 4 minutes and 50 seconds using a LocknCharge cart, when compared with a traditional cabinet which took 10 minutes and 3 seconds. These baskets enable the Cart to be shared by multiple classrooms or devices to be transported where carts can’t go – like up a set of stairs.

James Symons, CEO of LocknCharge says: “We knew that our new Carts would prove popular but we were blown away by the interest we received and the visitors to our stand, who were telling us they have been looking for a solution like this to their needs for many years.

Appreciating that budget is a genuine concern for many schools who do not want to compromise on choosing the right cart, locker or charging station, our Joey Carts are not only cost effective, but focus on effectiveness, individual school needs, integration and ultimately, on saving time and money.

We knew that our new Carts would prove popular but we were blown away by the interest we received and the visitors to our stand, who were telling us they have been looking for a solution like this to their needs for many years

In fact, our basket design can save a staggering 70 hours per year of class time by quicker tablet deployment when compared to a traditional cabinet, as demonstrated by our latest case study here:

The figures really do speak for themselves, and it was great to give schools the opportunity to win their own free Cart for their school in the process.  We have had a fantastic response to our Twitter competition with people taking selfies with a Joey Cart and sharing with us.”

For under £900, the Joey 30 Cart allows districts to enjoy the education-focused designs that LocknCharge is known for, at a more entry level price. The Joey 30 Cart charges, stores and transports up to 30 of almost any mobile device. The divider system and top-loading design of the Joey 30 Cart makes accessing devices easy for students and teachers – no more bending down to get devices off the bottom shelf.

Multiple access points compared to a traditional cabinet design means that students can access devices faster and teachers can begin to teach sooner. The Cart is manufactured with high quality steel material, but in a lightweight form – meaning it is easier to transport than most other carts in the marketplace.

LocknCharge products keep mobile devices safe, charged, and always ready for use. This makes the management process so much easier for individual teachers and schools, freeing up their time to do what they do best – teach.
