UCLan and Microsoft to hold free digital transformation event

The event will run practical seminars and keynote talks on the impact of Microsoft technology on education

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and Microsoft are teaming up to run a free digital transformation in education event on 17 April.

Digital Transformations at Scale: Maximising the potential of Microsoft Surface and Office 365 will provide opportunities for educators and IT professionals to share best practice around the use of Microsoft products in an educational context.

James Crooks, director of learning and information services at UCLan, said: “This is the second year we are hosting an event in partnership with Microsoft, and we’re thrilled to be able to build on the outcomes of last year.

“We look forward to another fantastic day of sharing ideas, experiences and best practice.”

This is the second year that UCLan and Microsoft have partnered on the event, which will be held at the university’s Harrington Building on the Preston campus from 9am–4.30pm.
