The refurbished machines represented a 50% saving compared to new and came with a manufacturer-comparable three-year warranty.
“If it had been a case of reduced cost but hampered warranty, it would have been less attractive. As it is, we got something more than capable of providing for the school’s needs at a reduced price with the same warranty as new,” explained the IT manager. “We are definitely going down the route of refurb first rather than new. This is across the board, including PCs and laptops, etc.”
