Edtech scale up launches individual content subscription for dental students

Immersify Education, a Manchester-based edtech business, hopes to supplement institutional subscription business model with individual subscriptions

Immersify Education has released a new paid content subscription service for dental students via its Immersify Dental platform, with its sights set on further growth within the field of digital educational resources.

The platform, which utilises augmented reality, gamification, and personalisation to create engaging learning experiences, is already being used by tens of thousands of dentistry students across the UK, US, Australia and India, via their universities.

Queen Mary University and Cardiff University are among the UK institutions currently offering the platform to their students.

For those students who can’t access the platform via a learning provider, the business is launching its dentistry content via an individual paid subscription service, meaning the interactive learning platform is now available to anyone studying dentistry.

Immersify Dental aims to have 100,000 users by the end of the year, as it looks to grow its revenue significantly via this model.

Chloe Barrett, CEO of Immersify Education commented: “Here at Immersify Education, we’re really passionate about supporting and enhancing the learning experience of the next and current generation, and this is why we’ve decided to expand our Immersify Dental platform. We have ambitious growth plans for the coming years; not only are we intending to reach the 100,000 users mark, but we’re also working on diversifying the Immersify platform for other academic areas.

“We’re really excited to be able to make the Immersify Dental platform more accessible and the long-term goal is to make the platform the Netflix of educational content!”
