Climb Academy is an online training resource designed to fill the digital skills gap, and help both aspiring professionals and entry level candidates understand and carve a career in digital marketing.
Initially launched in January 2015, Climb Online is claimed to be the only Apprentice-born business to have turned over in excess of £1m during its first year of trading – it now boasts a forecasted turnover of £7.5m for 2018 alone.
Wright will provide both learners and professionals with the opportunity to develop their skillset in Search Engine Optimisation [SEO], Pay-Per-Click [PPC] advertising and Social Media management.
Accessible through an online platform, learners will be able to: undertake the course alongside existing employment; develop a firm understanding of how digital marketing can support business growth; know how to create basic SEO, PPC and social media campaigns. They’ll be guided by educational video content created by members of the Climb Online team.
It is the first in a series of Climb Academy courses, with additional levels and specialist courses due to be rolled out in coming months.
‘As marketing becomes an increasingly important part of people’s businesses, the demand for our services booms’ – Lord Sugar
Wright said: “I can’t believe Climb Online is already three years old. The business has exceeded all my expectations, and our hard work continues to pay off. I love coming into work each day, watching my team develop and helping our clients achieve their growth objectives.”
“I am extremely excited about the launch of the Climb Academy, and the benefits it will bring to both the digital marketing and business sectors – particularly as recent statistics by the FSB have revealed over a quarter of small firms are concerned about their lack of digital skills, and how this is affecting their online presence.”
Lord Sugar, business mogul and partner to Wright, has played a substantial role in the continued growth of Climb Online, and is excited for the firm’s future. He said: “It’s been a brilliant three years for Climb Online. As marketing becomes an increasingly important part of people’s businesses, the demand for our services booms. This has provided us with a fantastic opportunity to show people the value of our marketing and the return we can generate for them. 2018 is set to be another excellent year with the launch of the Climb Academy, enabling us to support wider skills development, whilst providing us with an additional revenue stream.”
The Climb Academy is set to launch “in a matter of weeks”. For more information, please visit: www.climb-online.co.uk
