EduTECH 2015

In June 2015, some of the world’s biggest names in education will travel to Australia for EduTECH, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest edtech expo

Next year, the event is expected to attract over 8,000 attendees and will once again host eight congresses, eight post-congress masterclasses, an official dinner for 900 guests, 250 exhibitors, plus speaker meet-and-greets, TeachMeets and free seminars for expo visitors.

Following on from the success of the 2014 event, EduTECH 2015 will bring together an unparalleled collection of speakers and experts from around the globe. Speakers include:
VALERIE HANNON – a founding member of the Global Education Leaders Program (GELP) supporting jurisdictions globally to scale their innovation.  She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Innovation Unit UK, and senior consultant to the OECD Innovative Learning Environments program.

The pioneer of peer instruction and first-ever worldwide winner of the global Minerva Prize for making a significant impact on student learning experiences through extraordinary innovation.
DAVID PRICE OBE – leader ofnumerous international education projects designed to help schools gear themselves up to meet the challenges of the 21st century. In 2009, David was awarded the O.B.E. by Her Majesty the Queen.
NICHOLAS NEGROPONTE – a world-renowned technology visionary. Nicholas founded MIT’s legendary Media Lab (1985), one of the world’s leading interdisciplinary research centres that applies an unorthodox research approach to envision the impact of emerging technologies on everyday life. 

DR HEIDI HAYES JACOBS – an internationally recognised expert in the fields of curriculum mapping, dynamic instruction, and 21st century strategic planning. 

DR LARRY JOHNSON – Chief Executive Officer of the New Media Consortium. He founded the Horizon Project, which produces the acclaimed series of Horizon Reports that are used by well over a million educators in more than 150 countries.

EduTECH is the only event that brings together the entire education and training sector (primary, secondary, tertiary, higher education and workplace learning) plus libraries, government and suppliers from Australia, New Zealand, Asia and internationally… all under one roof.
