IFSEC International gears up for London

Taking place at its new home in London in 2014, IFSEC International is set to be bigger and better than ever before

IFSEC International, organised by UBM Live, continues to thrive as the only destination to serve the whole security buying chain, which has been solidified by its move to ExCeL London from 17-19 June.

The show relocation has received a £1m investment dedicated to ensuring the 45,000 visitors attending from across the world experience the most interactive and spectacular show yet. Demonstrating the market’s unrivalled commitment to IFSEC International, more than 94% of the floor plan has already been sold for the 2014 show and demand from exhibitors to showcase the latest technology at this global leading event continues to rise to record levels.

In addition to 500 returning exhibitors, more than 93 businesses have signed up to IFSEC International based on the event relocating to London after previously being absent from the 2013 show.

Recognising IFSEC International as the leading platform to network, showcase the latest products and make valuable business connections, exhibitors returning exclusively for the London move include: Pyronix, March Networks, SimonsVoss, UniView, CCTV Direct, Security Dynamics, EVVA, Tecnoalarm, HKC, Blok n Mesh.

Catering for the entire buying chain, IFSEC International will give the market what it wants through dedicated theatres for end-user and trade education plus, case studies and nine dedicated product areas, these include: Access Control, Integrated Security Solutions, Intelligent Buildings, Intruder Alarms, IT and Cyber Security, Perimeter Protection, Physical Security, Safe Cities and Video Surveillance.

Brand new for 2014, Security and Fire Installer Live will be a dedicated installer offering in the UK located on the show floor at IFSEC International. Catering for security and fire installation companies, this will be the go to destination to source the latest tools, products and experience insightful training sessions.

Gearing up for the relocation to London, the business hub of the UK, research demonstrates that there will be an increase in high calibre first time visitors to the show, as the new venue will make it more accessible to visit. Located within close proximity to National Rail stations, the London Underground network and London City Airport, IFSEC International will be easily accessible from across the UK and Europe. Exclusive deals have been put in place with transport and accommodation providers that are available to all exhibitors and visitors attending IFSEC International in June.

Charlie Cracknell, event director of the show said: “Businesses from across the whole security buying chain recognise the importance of being present at IFSEC International. We look forward to continuing to present an arena where the security industry can attend and conduct business in a reputable environment.

“We are well ahead of the game and continue to make preparations for 2014 to be the best edition of IFSEC International that has been seen before. Plans are constantly developing and we continue to introduce exciting new features. Keep your eye out for more announcements to be made shortly.”
