What are the most significant learning challenges facing HE students?

How can HE institutions best provide students with learning support and to what degree can digital solutions offer any answers?

Join a panel of experts from leading education and technology company, Cengage, and guests from within higher education, as they share with you the findings from the latest student research.

Student Voices, a 40-page report just published, found that:

  • 38% of first-year students struggle with independent learning as they make the difficult transition from school to university.
  • 31% of third years find interpreting data as one of the most challenging aspects of their undergraduate course.
  • 32% cite ‘preparing for assessments’ a challenge.
  • Students want an efficient way of learning and more one-to-one support.

But what can we make of this? How can content providers and HE institutions work together to improve student outcomes and the overall student experience?

Panel guests provide first-hand insight into how they are using digital resources to help overcome the most prevalent learning challenges facing students. They also discuss how online solutions are increasingly being employed to not only improve the overall student experience, but also student engagement, student retention and student outcomes.
