Karl Rivers was awarded the 2014 Naace Award for Technical Support in Schools Service Impact at a ceremony in Nottingham recently.
“Naace awards are given to those working in education who use technology to achieve the greatest impact and is a formal recognition of outstanding work in this area, said Rivers.
He added: “I received the award for my work improving IT use at Biddenham, providing support for other local schools, and sharing my work and experience on ClassThink. This is a hub I set up to share good practice and technical information with other schools that is now receiving hits from around the world.”
The National Association of Advisors for Computers in Education (Naace) is a community of education and technology leaders whose purpose it is to promote the use of technology in education both in the UK and internationally.
