CISG-PCMG17 is a joint conference run by two of the UCISA groups: the Corporate Information Systems (CISG) Group in partnership with the Project and Change Management Group (PCMG).
We are in times of unprecedented change and uncertainty: increasing competition, both within the UK and globally; change as new legislation comes into force (bringing increased accountability and reporting); change as technological advances allow new delivery models to be explored and a reskilling of the workforce to support the new environment. There is further uncertainty about the impact of Brexit and the UK’s standing in the world and questions about the sustainability of the current funding models (and even institutions themselves. Change is now the only constant.

The Conference will be highlighting the crossovers and collaborations between the professional communities involved in change in our organisations. Our organisations are being asked to deliver more with less, or to exploit better what we have already. We do not always get the opportunity and time to plan and implement in the way we might want; yet we still have to justify our systems and demonstrate value. The Conference will cover big ideas and vision alongside university showcases providing real life examples of HE system change initiatives.
You will have excellent opportunities to consult and network with your peers and will be supported by a host of vendors who will be exhibiting their solutions and providing their thoughts and experiences to help meet the demands of these challenging times. Delegates at this event will comprise those responsible for the development and implementation of corporate and academic systems, programme and project management and business process improvement, their staff and CIOs and IT Directors.
