By connecting a TS-x70 Pro series model to a HDTV via HDMI, users can enjoy multimedia contents with 5.1 channel surround sound supported by the XBMC media player provided in the QNAP HD Station.

The TS-x70 Pro series features the intuitive and app-oriented QTS 4.0 operating system that makes system operations and multimedia entertainment fully accessible and easy to use. Users can organise files and backups in one centralised location; sync files across computers, tablets and mobile devices with Qsync utility, share files across different groups and communities; and access, manage and enjoy files on the go using tablets and smart phones with mobile apps Qfile, Qmusic, Qphoto, Qmanager and VMobile.
The system is also a backup center to store files and media contents. Mac users can use the Apple Time Machine respectively to back up their data.
