The Education Show 2015 is collaborating with the Tablet Academy to provide educators with free, hands-on advice at the NEC, Birmingham in March.
As one of the UK’s leading education consultancy and teacher training organisations focusing solely on the use of tablets in schools, the Tablet Academy will host the Tablet Advice Hub, an area devoted to mobile learning in the Learning through Technology Zone.
Whether a school is looking to go down the 1:1 route, or is considering implementing Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), the Tablet Academy is inviting visitors to see and test a range of devices in an educational context. Its team of teachers will be on-hand as part of the tablet feature, offering educators the chance to drop by to ask any questions or gather advice on mobile learning.
Anita Pal, i2i Events Group, comments on the partnership: “We are dedicated to providing educators with guidance in areas where they are seeking support or advice – particularly at this time of change around the new curriculum. Following the Education Show 2014, visitor feedback suggested classroom technology was high on the agenda, and we have taken that into consideration in preparing the show’s content for 2015.
“Tablets play a significant role in mobile learning, which has now become central to teaching and learning. The Tablet Academy is well placed to support educators, whether they’re just starting out with mobile learning, or have the devices ready and waiting but aren’t sure how to use them to maximum effect.”
Organised by i2i Events Group, the Education Show 2015 is free to attend.
