Teachers needed for online lessons

Tute, a UK-based online social education platform, is looking to recruit more than 40 new teachers to bolster its Wrexham-based online tutoring team

Since 2011, the company has grown rapidly to employ more than 30 members of staff and have supported more than 200 schools and nearly 70,000 students across the UK.

Sean Gardner, founder and CEO of Tute, said: “This is great news for the business and local area as we are growing rapidly and looking to take on more teachers to cope with the demand we are experiencing from schools and parents looking for additional online teaching support.”

Tute provides a supplementary resource to schools by making teachers available online, anytime and anywhere. Designed to help students from across the ability spectrum, the company helps students maximise their potential, whilst also supporting schools by providing qualified, specialist support at the point of need.

Gardner continued: “By using an online platform we are delivering a new way of learning to the internet generation. The platform means that the best teaching is available to all, irrespective of location or background, and is proving to be a fantastic resource to schools as well as parents looking to better participate in their child’s education.”
