Transcription service offers $1,000 scholarships

GoTranscript’s funding help is open to high school students and university undergraduates across the globe until 2022

GoTranscript is to give $1,000 per-year to two students in higher education who enrol on its scholarship program.

The scholarship is open to high school students and university undergraduates across the world until 2022. Applications are accepted all year, with the scholarship issued during the spring and autumn semesters. To register, students are required to provide a cover letter outlining their academic and personal achievements, and write an essay of 500 -1,000 words explaining how language has helped their self-expression.

“A number of our transcription team is made up of students seeking employment they can fit around their schedule,” explained GoTranscript CEO, Peter Trebek. “Without their help, it would have been difficult for GoTranscript to achieve its 99% accuracy rate. We hope that, through our scholarship programme, we will be able to alleviate some of the costs related to tuition fees, accommodation, and study equipment for students across the world.”

The company already offers a 20% discount to students, teachers, lecturers, and professors using their academic  services, such as thesis and lecture transcription.
