Tripleplay will be demonstrating its video portal solution with integration into blackboard Moodle and Blackboard Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) at this year’s Bett Show.
The TripleChoice Media Portal integrates into any LDAP or Active Directory environment giving administrators full access and rights control. With features including live TV recording, video upload, bookmark creation and sharing, the ability to add comments to clips and easy branding Tripleplay’s media portal solution is a concise and complete offering that enables any institution to build their own, personalised video library.
Integration into VLEs ensures that the Tripleplay Media Portal can be easily added to any existing learning resource environment, providing the flexibility, quality and control associated with Tripleplay’s Media Portal, whilst making all video resources accessible to students and staff in a familiar and trusted way.
The Tripleplay Media Portal solution allows access to all content on all devices across all networks. Using our portal enables access to video content on tablet devices via public broadband, wireless and 3G/4G networks, whilst our administration access and content control feature ensures that all content is viewable only where, when and how you want it to be.
“Video use in teaching and learning has been on the increase for a number of years and, whilst our media portal is in use within many schools, colleges and universities around the world already, we understand that the ability to integrate into virtual learning environments is a must for some,” said Steve Rickless, Tripleplay CEO.
He added: “We have created a means that makes it very simple for administrators to add video content to a VLE and also for students to view and access it. Our Blackboard and Moodle integration will allow users to fully harness the technology we offer.”
Tripleplay will be discussing and demonstrating this new integration feature on stand F85 at BETT 2014.
