Tute expands to GCSE and A-Level

Social education platform Tute has announced that it is broadening its subject range to include both GCSE and A-Level courses

Tute provides a supplementary resource to schools by making online teaching available as part of a differentiated learning solution. In its first 18 months, the company has supported more than 300 schools and delivered nearly 10,000 targeted lessons to more than 110,000 pupils of all abilities and ages.

The extended offer is in response to demand from schools looking to expand their curriculum, as well as from overseas schools looking to deliver qualifications from English exam boards.

Sean Gardner, CEO and Founder of Tute, said: “Online education is growing rapidly as it provides schools with valuable, yet affordable, support which in turn is proving to have a positive effect on the lives of many students, whatever their background or situation.”

To help deliver Tute’s social education vision, the company has also secured partnerships with a number of organisations including BT, Achievement for All and Shireland Collegiate Academy, plus the Yorkshire & Humber Grid for Learning.
