Arden offers more options for vocational learners

The online university has embarked on a joint venture with Digital Native UK to deliver degree apprenticeships

Digital Native UK has teamed up with Arden University, providers of online and flexible learning, to offer degree apprenticeships.

Digital Native UK offers tech and IT apprenticeships designed to fit around its learners. The new joint degree apprenticeship, Digital and Technology Solutions, is designed to help employers upskill new and existing employees. The vocational, work-focused degree will be delivered by Arden University via its online learning facility and is supported by face to face coaching from industry experts.

Stacey Allen, Director of Corporate Partnerships at Arden University, said: “Work-based learning is playing a significant role in addressing the current skills gap. By partnering with Digital Native UK, we can help businesses grow and retain its existing talent, but also help diversify career choices beyond the traditional university degree.”

Learners are required to take three days out of the workplace per month to complete the degree apprenticeship, over a duration of three years. Arden University also offer degree apprenticeships in MBA and Chartered Management, in addition to a range of distance or blended learning courses.
