As part of their studies, a group of students from the University of Huddersfield are researching ‘The Use of Technology in the Classroom’. The survey will ask: How is technology used? Is it being used to its full potential? Are there teaching and learning benefits? Are teachers sufficiently trained, and so on.
All entrants have the opportunity of winning a classroom visualiser worth £349! And two lucky schools will win an Amazon voucher.
Elementary Technology is supporting the group with the technical side of the survey, along with use of its contacts in schools.
Ed Fairfield of Elementary Technology said: “Technology plays such a crucial role in teaching and learning nowadays – whereas it used to be viewed upon in isolation, it’s now as integral in a classroom as the tables and chairs.
“As a technology reseller we’re delighted to support the University of Huddersfield in their research. It’ll provide an outstanding insight into the sharp end of teaching – an area which many suppliers don’t pay sufficient attention to. We look forward to publishing the results when they become available.”
