In September 2017, Secondary Schools in England offering GCSE Design Technology will be required to start delivering the new Design Technology GCSE Qualifications. The new qualifications provide many opportunities for embedding 3D Printing technology into GCSE courses and student projects.

To enter the competition, you must submit an idea for a Project, Activity or Lesson incorporating 3D printing technology that could be delivered as part of the new GCSE qualification. You can enter as many times as you like, just complete a copy of the downloadable form for each unique entry. Each unique idea will be treated as a separate entry into the competition. The winning entry will be announced at the beginning of July 2017 and the winning school will receive their 3D printer before the end of the summer term, ready to use it with your new GCSE groups in September.
