This year, University Business is launching the first Young Leaders Awards to recognise the inspirational and dedicated under-30s working at or in partnership with universities across the UK.
All award nominations will be submitted online. Entries will then be shortlisted by a judging panel, and winners will be announced at the awards evening on Wednesday 4th November, 2015 The Park Lane Hotel Piccadilly, London.

This award will recognise the tireless organiser keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes at their university.
DIGITAL TRAILBLAZER
This award will recognise the tech-wizard trialing and testing the latest technological innovations to improve their university’s performance.
LEGAL EAGLE
This award will celebrate the work of sharp-eyed hotshots displaying best legal practice across the HE sector.
MARKETING MAGICIAN
This award is designed for the social media and marketing guru who is truly taking their university’s image to the next level.
MONEY MOGUL
This award will recognise the neat number-cruncher with their finger on the financial pulse.
NIFTY NETWORKER
The outgoing socialite creating, building and maintaining key relationships and contacts in order to pursue new opportunities for their university.
PEOPLE PIONEER
This award will recognise the team leader offering great guidance and top advice to their department.
SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION
This award will recognise the eco-warrior who has worked tirelessly at implementing a sustainability project or initiative at their institution, and is continuing to help keep their campus green
The awards are open to anyone aged 30 years and under, as of 4th November 2015, working in or in partnership with UK higher education institutions.
